Edan Ashkenazi is an LA-based writer/director whose roots as a first-generation American inform his unique approach to character-driven drama. His stories explore what it’s like to walk the line between two different cultures, and the many life lessons one can learn. Raised by Israeli parents but taught by NYC school teachers, he challenges himself to find a common thread between opposing viewpoints and inspire empathy for all.

Most recently he has completed an MFA in Screenwriting at the AFI Conservatory and is currently seeking representation.

His filmmaking heroes include Taika Waititi, Robert Zemeckis, and Greg Daniels.
